baby swaddle wrap

I didn't know what is swaddle until I read one of blog. The blogger has baby and she said swaddle make her life easier! Sounds so important to have it!!
When I shop around for baby I found one and because ONLY ONE left in the shop I feel pressure to buy it. well I bought it. ^^;
Then I thought one is not enough and I decided to copy the one I bought. Since I have fabrics I don't know what to make. well it wasn't easy to trace the shape so I google how to make baby swaddle.

I found this blog and made one. I used same fabric as curtain for outside and sky blue fleece for inner.

Sewing is fun!

Can't wait to use it!!!

Bassinet cover

Actually this is more like mattress cover ^^. My hubby Kim doesn't want me to deco too much on the side of bassinet. He worry about SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) so all I could do was making mattress cover. It's only 900 x 400mm so small!

I don't want to waste fleece fabric so I use fleece only one side and used white cotton on the other side.

Made with Blue, Green, Pink fabric. These covers will be enough for 2~3 month.

I am still here~

It's been 5 month since I've celebrate New year. Half year has gone already.
And I am 34 week pregnant!!! so last half year was very busy (cleaning and buying baby stuff) and tired days. Last Tuesday was my last day at work. So now I have lots of time for sewing! so happy!

ok I've done one sewing so far. I changed the curtain.

First one was original curtain. Now I have baby blue cute elephant pattern one. Love it!

The room is slowly fill with stuff :)

 

My next project is to make a bassinet mattress cover and make bib for my little kk.

Can't wait to sew again!

Last 3 months there was many things happen to me. I didn't want to make anything either.
This year 2012 I can't promise I will update very often but I can tell you that I won't stop making things!! :)

Pink ruffle scarf

Spring roll

Sunday morning 10am
I start to cook spring roll.
It supposed to be a breakfast but guess what time I finished cooking.
2pm.
Kim and I had spring roll for late lunch.
lol

I forgot to take a picture of frying spring roll.
well, I was too hungry to think about taking a picture.
I had to eat first...
After I packed left over spring roll
I realised that I haven't took a picture of cooked one.
:P

New kitchen mat

Previous kitchen mat became too dirty to clean.
There were a lot of oil stains and washing was wasting time.
So I made new kitchen mat!

I found this fabric at Spotlight curtain section.
