Current Projects

Lovely green fabrics
I'm planning to make a bunting flag.
It will decorate baby shower venue!!
Mother to be love love love the green.
:)

I have a few knitting projects at same time.
I am knitting a neck warmer for my hubby.
I like this dark brown yarn very much.
It's really soft, very easy to knit.

Black knitting(below) is going to be extension of other knitting blanket. (above)
That blanket is small I didn't realize until I start using.
I don't want to knit with purple yarn any more it's boring
so I'm using black.
I just start knitting this so I am not sure when I'm going to complete the blanket.
;P

Ugly duckling pouch

This drawstring pouch supposed to be bane pouch.
I made bane hole (mushroom fabric part below image) too small.
I tried to push bane in but NO... it didn't go through.
I was worry if I pushed too hard, fabric will be ripped apart.
So I changed a plan, made it as drawstring pouch.
Luckily I have thin string to use.
^^;

front view
decorated with ugly duckling label.

Ugly duckling label.
It's so cute!! Sadly this is only one I had.

Bane pouches

What is Bane?
Bane is a type of closer for pouches or small bag.
This bane pouch is very popular in Korea but here in Perth I couldn't find it.
Couple of weeks ago I found them at Craft & Quilt Fair.
(yes, it's been while it was sitting on my craft table... :P)
I was excited to make one of them finally.
Banne looks like picture below.

I used vintage collection fabric.
You can get it in spotlight.
They are already cut to strip so save time cutting.

I added scissor illustration tag.
:)

Once pouch has made bane is ready to be insert.
It's exactly same process as drawstring pouch you just use bane instead of string.

I made 2 of them.
This is first one, quiet flat.

When you press both end of banner, it open.

This is second one.
It's spacious than first one.

I am really happy with them!
:)
